The Weatherill Labor Government has done the unthinkable and is moving to sell the Repatriation General Hospital (the Repat).
The Repat plays an important role in delivering vital health care services to older people, veterans and our southern communities.
Patients, doctors, nurses and our broader community should not have to pay for Labor’s ongoing failure to manage the State’s finances and the health system.
I absolutely condemn the Weatherill Government’s decision to close the Repat.
We should renew the Repat not close it.
We are also calling on the State Government to make the Repat's older persons mental health facility, Ward 18, available to residents of Oakden and other older South Australians.
This solution would improve the care of some of our state’s most vulnerable and ensure that the Repat continues to serve our local community as a world class health facility.
Please stand with us against Labor’s cuts to local health services and instead help the Marshall Liberal Team Renew the Repat.
