The condition of Belair Road below Windy Point Lookout is getting worse.
The up track from Lynton to Windy Point is showing serious signs of wear.
Belair Road is one of the key roads in and out of the Mitcham Hills and it's important that upgrade works take place to allow local commuters the quickest and safest journey to and from work, school, the shops and the city.
As it stands the road is not safe for motorists or cyclists.
After years of neglect under the previous State Labor Government, our community has recently been successful in gaining funding to fix our roads, including $3.5 million for the Blackwood Roundabout, $16.5 million for the Mitcham Hills Road Corridor, $60 million for the Fullarton-Cross Road Intersection and a feasibility study into the Craigburn Farm Bypass.
We still have more work to do in order to fix our Hills road network and I need your help to show the Government that we now need funding to fix Belair Road.
Showing the Minister for Transport, Planning & Infrastructure the condition of Belair Road.

I support the Government allocating funding to fix Belair Road to ensure the safety of motorists and cyclists along this route.
