Sam Duluk and The Liberals' six priorities for Davenport

Better local roads and transport

Sam & the Liberals will...

  • Commit $20 million to fund both the Master Plan and the first stage of the Mitcham Hills road corridor upgrade. The Master Plan will cover upgrading the central road corridor through the Mitcham Hills.
  • Add a fourth lane to Flagstaff Road.

Fighting to lower our cost of living

Sam and the Liberals will...

  • Fight to reverse Labor’s Emergency Services Levy hike - a tax on your home, on schools and local community groups.
  • Fight against Labor’s massive hikes to water prices.
  • Fight against all of Labor’s increased taxes - like the defeated toxic car park tax.

More jobs, stronger economy

Sam and the Liberals will...

  • Push to reduce business taxes and charges, to stimulate growth and create more jobs.
  • Cut red-tape and unnecessary regulations to increase business competitiveness.
  • Offer incentives to business to create more apprenticeships, providing opportunities for young South Australians.
  • Focus on boosting our exports to bring more money into the local economy.

Fixing our schools and hospitals

Sam and the Liberals will...

  • Guarantee the future of the Flinders Medical Centre and fight Labor’s threat to close a hospital, downsize emergency departments and close beds.
  • Introduce an Independent Children’s Commissioner to ensure systems are in place to protect our children.

Keeping our community safe

Sam and the Liberals will...

  • Back CFS Volunteers who risk their lives to keep our community safe.
  • Introduce body-worn cameras to all police uniforms, supporting our police and gathering vital evidence.
  • Install more CCTV cameras at crime black spots.

A greener, brighter environment

Sam and the Liberals will...

  • Provide more park rangers to look after Belair National Park.
  • Continue to support and protect the Wittunga Botanical Gardens.
